A Parsi Gentleman with a Dog inscribed “Painted by Framji Cawassji Fort Bazar Gate St N1 126 Bombay” was oil on canvas loosely adhered to a board. Surface dirt, discolored varnish and losses are seen in the before image.  The painting was lifted off the board, stripped lined and placed on a key-able stretcher. The surface was cleaned, varnish removed, losses filled and in-painted with a final coat of varnish.
